My Days Into Obscurity

I'm on the floor
Counting one more
No one to break the
Silence staring at night all alone
Seeking solace in solitude beneath starlit skies

How does it feel to
Be a nobody in dis world, like a complete unknown
To be on ur own, with no direction home
When ur walls come tumbling down
All ur connections lost in tym
Fickle words crowding ur head

When u question the very existence of ur life
Does anybody know what we're looking for

Every time I look in the mirror
All dose lines on my face getting cleared
Past gone, goes by,like dusk to dawn

Can u remember my name as I
flow thru your life,Distant faces shine

Running before tym took my dreams away
To a lyf consumed by slow decay

Is this the real life
Is this just fantasy
Caught in a landslide
No escape from reality

Outside the dawn is breaking
But inside in the dark I'm aching to be free

Maybe I forgot all the things I've missed
Somehow there's more to life than this

Inside my heart is breaking, but my smile still stays on....

Tides of Time

Once upon a time dere was a boy who sneaked out like a rat...he was too shy 2 talk 2 girls...dey teased him calling names...out of the many gorgeous girl, dere was a particular one...the boy & the girl went 2 the same tuitions...but as was his nature no interaction took place...the boy ran away as soon as possible(Could u believe dis!! hope 2 thrash dat stupid boy)

The girl asked the boy 2 accompany him 2 home as evnings set upon by the time a tuition ended....the boy agreed but wht now!! Can u believe this...In the several journeys with her,the boy could not strike up any conversation....u can guess wht a boring journey would it hav been for her...all the boy could muster was one word bye dat too in front of his house...he didn't evn hav the courtesy 2 accompany 2 her place which wasn't far away...Wht was he thinking--dat people would see him & all hell will be bent loose on him...or his beauty will get diminished....one who thinks abt the society isn't worth giving a thought.....

By the fate of fortune...guess wht...a tuition was scheduled at his house....the girl came earlier & was asked to sit upstairs by his mother....whr was our super hero now??? don't jump 2 any conclusions....by the irony of fate he was sitting downstairs in one corner room reading Harry Potter oblivious 2 his surroundings(Wht timing!! din't get any other time 2 show his reading skills).Guess by the time wht happened the girl's friends came & 4m outside not seeing her...went 2 call her...the girl's mother came running as she smelled foul of a kidnapping case which was prevalent 4m where she came....unaware of all dis our hero was blissfully reading HARRY PUTTER.only whn he went upstairs red faced did he realize dat so much had happened.

All this chaos 4 whom???How could the boy leave the girl alone dat too whn the girl is so gorgeous...How could anyone b so mean...evn now to many,he remains a mystery...

The boy liked the girl's attitude-frank & convivial. The boy sometimes wonders if dere exists the same girl out dere or if she has been swept away by the tides of time making her one of dem....

Would the girl evr forgive him & accept the token of friendship which he longed for but nvr had...or would the girl turn her back & leave the boy in a bottomless chasm....if he is not instigated now...den would the guy evr b brave enough 2 muster courage 2 approach any other girl....would 2-3 mistakes spell doom 4 the entire of his life??? these r the very questions which the boy seeks.....

Placement

I'm sure most of u have gone through this ordeal or wonderful experience(lucky 4 some)..this is the time u r eagerly waiting for since the day u joined collz..but with it comes the stark realities..

When placement comes around the corner, what truth it reveals to an average student.

you come to know that your worst competitors are no one other than your best of friends.u get 2 see the true face of many so-called friends..so many misunderstandings. After placement the vibes shared earlier never remains the same

you realise that the ultimate objective of your studying is, placement and not what you have learnt.

you see that there is no correllation between what you speak in the GD and what you do

you realise that words speak louder than actions. The more you speak the better you are

you realise that you are alone in the world.

when all the people around you look smart other than you

when you have to fight in a fishmarket

someone once said "All the world is a stage" but placement is the best part of the drama

Transition of a boy

Once there was a boy.He was apt in female company to feel like something set down here from another Universe.

Now dere was a girl who was lovely,smart...& a boy who was quite the opposite..as usual dey teased, fought with each other...when the girl was leaving..one friend of hers told him dat the girl had a crush on him(maybe d were rumours)...u can guess wht happened after it!!..he ignored it completely & didn't pay any heed 2 it...it wasn't dat the boy didn't like her...

Many years later the girl & the boy meet in a place where dey recognize each other..the formal talks, newz & dey depart..But as fate had other plans 4 dem...dey met again after a few days..the girl is surprised Wht a coincidence!!twice in a few days..dey talk..& the girl gives her phone no. asking him 2 call her...maybe the girl wanted a friend...but don't yet jump 2 any conclusions..where did the boy note the number...Oh 4 God's sake not his hand!!So by the time the numbers got smudged...maybe the boy wouldn't hav phoned her evn if he had the number....but the option would hav been open...

Guys do take care & don't commit a folly like dis boy...

Life is for the courageous. The coward goes on hesitating & by the time he decides, the moment is lost. The coward only thinks to live but never lives, thinks to love but never loves. The coward has a basic fear, fear of unknown. He keeps himself within the boundaries of the known...

The boy may think himself as complacent...but in contrast, the complacent person skims over the world, ignoring it & deluding himself dat he is pursuing a spiritual life.In fact,he & the world r charting a path indifferent 2 each other...

Enable Regedit

http://www.patheticcockroach.com/mpam4/dl.php?id=14

Allowing dos and regedit in a restricted Windows

open notepad and type the following:
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesWinOldApp]
"Disabled"=dword:0
[HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesSystem]
"DisableRegistryTools"=dword:0

Save it as something.reg then run it. Simple

**I got this tweak while surfing the internet. Go to Start –> Run, copy and paste the follow in the Run box and press OK.I would recommend using this simple code

REG add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /v DisableRegistryTools /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

The effects are usually instant. If not then you should see the results after restarting your computer.

Value Added Tax

Vat is not a new tax but improved version of sales tax levied at every stage of sale with a provision for set off taxes paid by a dealer on his purchases against tax payable on his sales during tax period

The basic problem is that the sales tax is levied on the gross value without allowing any set-off for the taxes paid on inputs(i.e. tax levied on gross value).Consequently,it tends to create the phenomenon of cascading resulting in increased consumer prices by an amt higher than wht accrues to the exchequer by way of revenue from it.

Second, the existing system results in an uncontrolled incidence of tax.The total effective incidence on any given final product at the end of the chain of production distribution process would be fortuitous. This phenomenon of cumulative incidence resulting from chain of taxes makes exact calculations of tax incidence impossible.

Example of how vat works

B purchases from A at price Rs. 1000+VAT@12.5% i.e. Rs.125(total Rs.1125) & sells it at Rs.1200+VAT@12.5%i.e. Rs. 150(total Rs.1350).The customer pays Rs. 1350 to B.In this transaction,B gets input tax credit of Rs.125 on his purchase which can be set-off against his tax liability of Rs.150.B pays to govt.(Rs.150-Rs.125=Rs.25). In other words,he pays tax to the govt. only on value addition/mark up by him.

How selfish we are

lWhat is your fundamental, lasting interest in life? Isn't it yourself? That is what most of us would say if we answered truthfully

I am interested in my progress, my job, my family, the little corner in which I live, in getting a better position for myself, more prestige, more power, more domination over others, and so on.

Some of us would say that it is wrong to be primarily interested in ourselves. But what is wrong about it except that we seldom decently, honestly, admit it? If we do, we are rather ashamed of it. So there it is one is fundamentally interested in oneself, and for various ideological or traditional reasons one thinks it is wrong.

You may say that it is more satisfactory to help another than to think about yourself. What is the difference? It is still self-concern. If it gives you greater satisfaction to help others, you are concerned with what will give you greater satisfaction. Why bring any ideological concept into it? Why this double thinking? Why not say, 'What I really want is satisfaction, whether in sex, or in helping others, or in becoming a great saint, scientist, or politician?' It is the same process, isn't it? Satisfaction, in all sorts of ways, subtle and obvious, is what we want.

When we say we want freedom, we want it because we think it may be wonderfully satisfying, and the ultimate satisfaction, of course, is this peculiar idea of self-realisation. What we are really seeking is a satisfaction in which there is no dissatisfaction at all.

Most of us crave the satisfaction of having a position in society because we are afraid of being nobody. Society is so constructed that a citizen who has a position of respect is treated with great courtesy, whereas a man who has no position is kicked around... This craving for position, for prestige, for power, to be recognised by society as being outstanding in some way, is a wish to dominate others, and this wish to dominate is a form of aggression. The saint who seeks a position in regard to his saintliness is as aggressive as the chicken pecking in the farmyard. And what is the cause of this aggressiveness? It is fear, isn't it?

Fear is one of the greatest problems in life. A mind that is caught in fear lives in confusion, in conflict, and therefore must be violent, distorted, and aggressive. It dare not move away from its own patterns of thinking, and this breeds hypocrisy. Until we are free from fear, we may climb the highest mountain, invent every kind of God, but we will remain in darkness.

Living in such a corrupt, stupid society as we do, with the competitive education we receive, which engenders fear, we are all burdened with fears of some kind, and fear is a dreadful thing that warps, twists, and dulls our days...

We are all afraid of something; there is no fear in abstraction, it is always in relation to something. Do you know your own fears fear of losing your job, of not having enough food or money, or what your neighbours or the public think about you, or of not being a success, of losing your position in society, of being despised or ridiculed...? And what do you usually do about them? You run away from them, don't you, or invent ideas and images to cover them? But to run away from fear is only to increase it.

One of the major causes of fear is that we do not want to face ourselves as we are. So, as well as the fears themselves, we have to examine the network of escapes we have developed to rid ourselves of them. If the mind, in which is included the brain, tries to overcome fear, to suppress it, discipline it, control it, translate it into terms of something else, there is friction, there is conflict, and that conflict is a waste of energy.
